Amicalola Falls

On Friday, we all went to Amicalola Falls.  Some of the trees were starting to turn colors.
Dad had Grandma and Lisa follow him up the steps.

Centennial Park

After the World of Coke, we spent some time at Centennial Park.
 There were "clues" everywhere.
Grandma provided entertainment on the slide.  She would land on her bum everytime down.

World of Coke

On Grandma's first day in Georgia, we went to the World of Coke in downtown Atlanta.
 It was bright outside.
There is a tasting place where you can try different coke from around the world.  I LOVED IT!!

I knew I was getting away with something!

Back to taste more!

You get a free bottle of coke at the end.

Tornado

Yesterday a tornado went through our apartment complex.  It BARELY missed ours.  We were driving home from Tennessee (in Tropical Storm Lee) when Mom's visiting teacher and friends called her to see if our family was ok.  That is how we learned about it.  We got home after it was dark, so we didn't see the damage until this morning.  The tornado struck across the street, curved around our building, and continued on.  In the morning, Mom and Grandma went and took pictures.

These are from our complex area.

The weather service said the tornado was a quarter mile wide.  The tropical storm was the cause of it, so there was also flash flooding from intense rain.  On top of the tornado, peoples houses were flooding.
