Georgia Aquarium

 This weekend we went to the Georgia Aquarium again.  We took some time to play on the playground at Centennial Park first.

 Don't worry, my mom can be crabby too.

 The Beluga Whales were really playful this time.  I had a blast watching them.

Friend

I have found a really good friend.  Her name is Breelynn.  We are in nursery together.  I get really excited to see her.  She always gives me a hug and a kiss when she sees me.  We also like to hold hands.  One time Mom asked me if Breelynn was in nursery.  I told her yes, and that she had a yellow dress on.

We have started to do play dates together.  In this picture we are at music time. 

Preschool Report

I LOVED preschool!  When Mom came in to my class to pick me up I yelled, "Mom!  Can I come back to preschool again?!"  I had a lot of fun, and I love Ms. Alyssa.  I invited her to come to my house to visit me.

 Mimi usually takes the grandkids for icecream on their first day of school.  She couldn't take me, so she sent me icecream money.  This is me looking for an icecream place.  We ended up at Menche's.

 You can pick your flavor of yogurt (they had like twenty options) and then you put what you want in it.  I wanted a little of everything.

 Oh yeah, that is good!

 Mom was very brave while I was at preschool, so she got an icecream.

 Dad got an icecream for listening to Mom blab about her baby growing-up.  (He probably should have got two.)

 Yellow Dog got one too because he was very brave while I was at preschool.  Mom asked me to leave him home.  She was going to let me take him in my backpack if I got sad, but I didn't.  I gave him a big hug and kiss and told him that I would miss him.  Then I gave Mom strict instructions to take Yellow Dog to the park and push him in the swing while I was at preschool.

This is my first school picture!  I wouldn't tell Mom anything about preschool.  I just don't want to talk about it.  But I was in a really happy mood all day.  I also was singing some frog ribbiting song.

1st Day of Preschool!!

 Today is my first day of preschool!  I am so excited!  (Mom however, has been a pile of nerves for the past week.)

 Mom made me an ABC 123 breakfast.

 She also made me some school cookies.  (I talked her into letting me eat one of those for breakfast too.)

When It's Hot Outside. . .

This summer in Georgia has been HOT!  It is too hot to do anything outside, so what have we been doing?  We take a lot of trips to DAC Kids, the mall play place, and McDonald's big playland.  We also go to a music time once a week. 

We do alot of activities in the house.  My favorite is scavenger hunts.  Mom made clues with pictures.  I love running all over to find them.  Then I get a prize at the end.  It usually is some type of craft to do.

Mom makes me practice writing.

It usually ends up in a big mess though.

Preschool

 Today I met my preschool teacher.  Can you believe I am big enough to go to preschool?   Mom can't.  I think out of the two of us, Mom is the most worried.  Her baby is growing-up too fast.

Mom made me a special preschool breakfast. 

This is my teacher Ms. Alyssa.  She is really nice.  Mom and Dad were impressed with her.   Yellow Dog liked her too.

Writing Practice

 I am going to start preschool this week, so Mom has been trying to help me learn to write my name.  She made up a song so I remember the letters, now I just have to get the fine motor skills.

We got out the shaving cream for today's letter writing practice.  I thought it was a blast!

Watermelon Pancakes

 This morning I cried and cried.  I miss my grandma and everyone so much.  I miss my dogs.  I wish we could go back to Utah.  I miss my other house.  I miss my cousins.

My mom understood how I was feeling.  She thought of something that would cheer me up!  Mommy made me watermelon shaped pancakes.
